This message, the second of a two-part study continues identifying the biblical reasons for the rapture to take place before the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation.
Picking up with the third reason being that the Church is not mentioned in the book of Revelation after chapter 3, and is mentioned in heaven in chapter four and five, as referred to by the 'twenty-four elders.' No mention of the Church is found in chapters 6-18.
A fourth reason is the Church is promised deliverance from God's wrath to come during the prophesied 'day of the Lord' such as found in 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9 and Revelation 3:10.
Fifth, there needs to be a time gap between the rapture and Christ's second coming to earth to set up His kingdom. Isaiah 65:20
Sixth, the word in the original Greek text of 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8, 'apostasy' (in the NASB) means departure. The Tribulation period then comes after this departure.
Seventh and final consideration in this message, the fact that the Bible says the return of Christ could happen at any time, at any moment, meaning it is imminent. Philippians 3:20-21
Such truths give great hope, comfort and sbe eagerly anticipated by the believer wo is living as they should be - ready for the return of Christ at any moment.
