The wicked plots against the righteous to destroy him. He bends the bow and aims the arrow at him. He digs a pit and waits for the righteous to fall into it. But God laughs. God is not worried, for He sees that the day of the wicked is coming. The day of comeuppance. And the reason God sees that day is because He has planned the day. God has predestined the destruction of the wicked. God is no more worried about the plots and plans of wicked rulers and wicked nations and wicked neighbors than He was worried about Pharaoh and the Eyptians chasing the Israelites into the Red Sea. Instead, He laughs. If God is laughing at them, why not join Him?
