When you present the gospel to someone, you better begin with God. Let me tell you, there is a God. He is almighty and He is sovereign. He has brought all things into existence and some day He will call you into His presence to judge you and sentence you to an eternal Hell unless your sin is dealt with. We have completely corrupted the gospel of Jesus Christ today. We have seeker services, even though there are none who seek after God. How can you make fallen man comfortable in the presence of a God who is to be feared? When you call fallen man to fear God, it's not saying, don't be afraid of God, When the angel from Heaven comes with the gospel in Revelation 14, he starts out, fear God. Jesus, what's He say? Don't fear man, they can just kill the body. I'll tell you who to fear, fear God. He has power to cast you into an eternal hell. You must tremble in His presence.
