And it is a reminder that God is sovereign. His purposes will be accomplished. His people will be victorious and the Messiah will reign. The wicked will be judged. Remember, the book of Revelation is about the redemption, the final, ultimate redemption of God's creation. The destiny of all humanity apart from Jesus Christ is an eternal hell to be tormented day and night into the ages of the ages. No matter what you think of that, that is truth because God said it and the only salvation is the salvation that you receive when you repent of your sins and cast yourself upon God's mercy believing that His Son, Jesus Christ, paid the penalty for your sin.
