How we think about ourselves and others will determine how we relate to each other-we are to be thinking in the same way that Jesus Christ thought. Christ has set a pattern for our thinking. My life is to be a reflection of the life of Jesus Christ. We must be very cautious on this point, however. There is a theological heresy which is a favorite of apostates which teaches that Jesus Christ came to earth to be an example for us and that we experience salvation by patterning our lives as much as possible after the life of Christ. That is a satanic lie. No one will ever be saved by trying to live a life like Christ lived. The penalty for sin is death, not living a good life.
