Right after Jephthah had a great victory, he had a great tragedy, then he was confronted with the complaining Ephraimites. There are some people who help all the time. Then there are those who are almost never there to work. What is frustrating is when those who did not help come back and complain that they were not invited to help. Scripture tells us to watch our mouths because it will get us in trouble. We should look to be nice to people. All of us have things we do not know how to say. And all of us have things we have trouble hearing. We often hear something that is not what was intended. We also need to be careful what say, we need to say things that are kind and not hurtful. Whatever the situation is that we go through, it is temporary, where we live after that his life is permanent. God grants us the opportunity to receive forgivenesses and life through Jesus.
