In the midst of spiritual warfare and false professors, the Kingdom of our Lord will ultimately prevail. If you want to prepare a good crop you have to prepare the ground. Jesus said we are not to be surprised, there are weeds in the garden. It is not our job to weed God’s garden, He knows who are His, we do not. God sees what is going on and He will deal with it. Jesus explains all this, not to the world, but to His own followers. The question is not, how do we detect the weeds, the question is what kind of plant are we? There is no hope for any of us apart from Jesus. The Kingdom of God may not look like much when it gets started, just small and insignificant, however, it will grow to help a great number of people. The triumph will be at the end of the age when God sends His angels to separate those who are His. We must trust in Jesus, He is the only one who can save us.
