This morning we find ourselves back in the outermost court of the temple at Jerusalem where Jesus is teaching. The celebration of the Feast of Booths is coming to an end, and Jesus has just returned from spending the night on the Mt. of Olives.
Last week we finished the first 11 verses of chapter 8 where the scheming religious authorities attempted to trap Jesus by asking Him what He had to say about a young women caught in the act of adultery while reminding Him about the Law and Moses' command to stone those caught in adultery.
