The blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel... Hebrews 12:24-25
The blood of Abel, his faith to trust and offer a blood sacrifice, still speaks... his witness of faith still speaks... Jesus' witness speaks greater things who sprinkled His own blood upon the mercy seat. As we are reminded in 1 John 3, "Love not as Cain, who murdered his brother." The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of both, Able and the faith sacrifice he made when he brought the blood of animal sacrifice to the Lord. His death speaks, a witness even today, that an unrighteous man killed a righteous man because he was right and lived rightly before God. But his blood is not like the blood of Jesus, the righteous one who laid down His life and shed His blood for the unrighteous. His blood speaks better things. Glory be!
