David, just prior to his death, having turned the throne over to his son, gathered the leaders of Israel with the Levites and guided them like any intentional arrow shaper would... to remind them of why he squeezed out and shaped the musical instruments that he made. He said, "I made them for giving praise" (1 Chronicles 23:5). This is so typical of God and His arrow shaper... a man after His own heart, who intentionally creates everything they make or shape for the purpose of giving praise.
Keep in mind, it was David who penned these words: "All Your works shall praise You, O Lord; and Your saints shall bless You. They shall intentionally speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and purposely talk of Your power, to make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of Your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations" (Psalm 145:10-13).
