All believers in Jesus Christ are headed for their new home in the coming kingdom!
Following the first phase of the prophesied kingdom that will be 1000 years in duration, heaven will come down to earth forever. God's throne will be on the earth throughout eternity. The throne promised to David (1 Chronicles 17:10-14) will be established forever, in Jerusalem. The Kingdom begins when the King, Jesus Christ, returns to earth (Zechariah 13:8-14:9.)
Prior to His return the Bible tells us there will be a time of intense tribulation and great destruction on the earth, so great that all would be destroyed if He didn't return.
After His 1000 year rule and reign the Bible tells us the present heavens and earth will be destroyed and there will be a new heaven and earth that is perfect and holy. Such will be fitting and suitable for God to dwell among redeemed mankind as all creation is restored to the pre-fall (Genesis 3) condition.
What a glorious future home awaits all who will repent of their sin and accept the free gift of eternal life, in a relationship with God, in that kingdom forever. Just as certain is the horrible devastating destiny awaiting those who refuse to acknowledge their sin and repent for without Christ as Savior, He will as judge, rightfully separate Himself from them, sending them to hell for all eternity.
