Our world is full of change and uncertainty. But we belong to a Savior who never changes, whose faithfulness is enduring. “He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself…” (NKJV, 2 Timothy 2:13). Those words, reiterated from a 1st century hymn in Paul’s last epistle, give us two sides of Christ’s faithfulness. Jesus is true to those He has redeemed – He will never fail us. Not ever. And Jesus is true to His own nature as a just and righteous God. Unfaithfulness to Him ultimately will be judged. I hope to see you here this Sunday as we continue our study of 2 Timothy 2 with “Comfort and warning: He remains faithful.”
