What God is doing in the world today, through the Church, continues as part of His plan of salvation for Jews and Gentiles. The Jews rejection of Jesus did nothing to force God into adjusting that plan, but rather is significantly used by God to bring salvation to Gentiles and establish His Church.
In speaking to Gentiles, the apostle Paul states in these verses being studied, that the spiritual riches and all the wealth of heaven now offered to Gentiles will serve to make the Jews jealous. Gentiles must always remember it is the Jewish Messiah who provided salvation and they, as the Church, are not a replacement for the Jewish people. God will be faithful to His calling of Israel to be a people for Himself and to every single one of the promises He made to them.
The salvation of Gentiles is right on schedule as God's timetable advances toward bringing a remnant of the Jewish people to saving faith in Jesus Christ their Messiah. It has not been adjusted, delayed, or in any way thwarted from accomplishing all that God intends.
