When he finally came to himself, we have seen, it was because he thought of home and how well cared for the hired servants were there. He made resolution to arise and go his father and confess his sins and that he was no longer worthy to be called His father's son. When he did this, he found to his astonishment that his father was not only willing to receive him back again as a son, but that he was also commanding his servants to bring out the best robe, and put it on him. And put a ring on his finger. And he then also commands that the servants bring the fatted calf there and kill it. And after that to eat and be merry. "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous."
