The greatest struggles, difficulties, and challenges faced by the church come from within. False teachers and deceitful workers are brought in by the devil well disguised as believers who then do well playing church. While give the appearance of being outwardly righteous they are inwardly ungodly, corrupt and malicious. They promote their own corrupted version of truth while excelling in their presentation as they meet the standard of success as measured by the world. Such appearances well supported by engaging personalities make for great deception as they gain the confidence of many who do not carefully listen to their message and observe their lives and lifestyle. With that measure of success and the confidence the deceived have in them the challenge is made to those who are ministering the Word of God in purity and truthfulness. The warning still sounds from the apostle Paul to the church today as the devil is unchanged in his character, intentions, and schemes.
