Boldness with the Gospel of Jesus Christ demonstrates being unashamed and confident of the message being the soul saving truth as given in the Word of God. No holding back, no reservations, no softening this Truth of God characterized the proclamation of the Gospel in the early Church. They, as we, can speak clearly and boldly because the message from God to man is not a matter of personal opinion or conviction.
Such boldness requires being ready at all times to initiate conversations to find out if God has prepared a heart to be receptive to the same powerful, life-saving message. Every time the Gospel is shared something happens. The Spirit of God is always working on the heart of the hearer, whether to soften to be receptive or to further harden, according to the sovereign will of God. Every time the Gospel is shared, God is pleased and glorified as His purposes are accomplished for that person being shared with.
Being confident with the Gospel means letting God have His way with the life and destiny of the hearer. The message must never be adjusted to be more palatable to the hearer. Altering the message will not change God's plan for the destiny of the hearer, but it will fail in the messenger doing what is pleasing to God.
