In the first session we gave some consideration to what is happening today and then to get some perspective we looked at the major events of history as related to biblical events. In this session, we complete our overview of history ending in 1948 when Israel once more became a nation. Here we give some time to what happened in 1948. As I view what happened in 1948, it is the most significant event in prophecy since the destruction of the Jewish temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD or the writing of the book of Revelation around 90-95 AD.
Having set our present situation in the world by taking a broad overview of history we will now give ourselves to the matter of how to interpret the Bible. If one's method of interpretation is wrong the outcome will certainly be wrong. If one's method is the literal, normal approach to interpretation, then the difficulties of coming to an understanding of what will happen in the future according to the Bible will be greatly simplified.
