Life continues as faith grows in commitment to Christ thereby directly influencing both inner character and outer conduct. The challenge to believers is to then be resolute to endure by remembering the past and contemplating the future. Attempts to ease the pressure resulting from identification with Christ will result in compromise and nullifying of the Gospel's power and influence personally and to the world around us to whom we are called to be witnesses. The call to endure the conflicts by continuing to live by faith in Christ while maintaining fellowship with other believers as a source of encouragement and support.
