If we knew when we would die, would we live wiser or more stupidly? God knows the future. Anyone who believes that the Book of Daniel was not written by Daniel, disagrees with Jesus and there is no wisdom in disagreeing with God. God gives the dreams and teaches how to pray in accordance to His will when our desire is to do His will. God has the future well in hand and He has everything under control. Without God giving us new hearts, we are hostile to the truth. If someone is spiritually dead, all the information in the world will not help them understand the scripture. All people everywhere, need God to remove the blinders from their eyes in order to see the truth. Anyone who thinks they will get into Heaven by what they have done is cut off from Christ. We can only go to Heaven because He saved us. Are we trusting in Jesus, or "trusting in" trusting in Jesus? Real faith manifests itself in works. If we are trusting in Jesus to save us, then we have nothing to fear. We should want to make the most of every moment we have and set our eyes on Jesus. Even when God tells us what the future holds, we must get up, there is still work to be done. God has already determined the future, therefore we do not need to fear future events.
