Daniel lived a life of excellence. The only way that Daniel would have been disloyal to the king is if what the king had Daniel do had gone against what God says. When Daniel was faced with a decision to pray to King Darius or to the Lord, Daniel continued to do what he had done before. Daniel continued to pray to the Lord. We should not fear to do the right thing. God will take care of us. It is better to die than to disobey God.
