When addressing His disciples, the Lord told them to "Remember Lot's wife." One of the reasons the Lord wanted His followers to remember her, was the price she paid for her love of the world. The Lord not only wanted His disciples to learn from Lot's wife, but He wants us to learn from her also.

Excellent! I never heard such a clear presentation of the tragedy of Lot’s family. Very good the observation that Lot’s wife was not in the home over that night, but in the city. However, I think that the 2 daughter were not with her in the city over night, because we found them in the house with Lot in verse 8. Yes, their mother was a bad example for them and their future immorality had its cause from her example. And I think that the married daughters of Lot, and maybe sons (verse 12) perished with the city, because, as preacher stated, “were not found” (v. 15).
