Job was not suffering because of sin, but because of righteousness. This conflict Job was going through would not be worth noting except that Job was righteous and not being punished for any sin. The conclusion of the cycle of discussions between Job and his friends will end. The is no pattern to God's actions. Sometimes the wicked are blessed and the righteous suffer. Part of Job would like to see it as his friends see it, the wicked are always punished and the righteous rewarded. The wicked attack the orphans, widows, and the needy, people Job went out of his way to help these people. The wicked keep going on and on.
Thieves, murderers, adulterers, love the darkness, in which they carry out their foul deeds. Darkness is a friend to the wicked.
Job recognizes that God is all-powerful, and does what He will for the righteous or wicked. A will that is always good, right and perfect in accomplishing God's purposes.
