What's most valued and treasured about the uniqueness of our King is His incorruptible power and uncontaminated strength. It's His uncompromising fondness for rightness and the righteousness it produces. This love for justice will put Him in a womb, to walk through the world as a servant, to be rejected by the wicked and become a curse upon a wooden cross to rightly justify and satisfy His love of justice.
"Light is sown for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the Lord you righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name." Psalm 97:11-12

Our gladness will always be in proportion to our response to the light we have.
Joy and happiness are both reflections of what one knows, understands, and seeks. For the followers of Jesus joy is a fruit of God and His fruit is the product of a seed. Fruit is the product of a seed planted in the right soil. And the seed, that's been planted by God for the child of God, is the word of God. His word is a seed of revelation or light that is planted in the heart of the righteous. (Psalm 97:11) And how we respond to that seed of light will be reflected in our gladness. Gladness and joy are intimately connected.
Our GLADNESS will always be intimately connected to the LIGHT we have and honor.
