Peter's restoration by Jesus was as certain as his earlier failure. It is always so with true disciples who fail, not because we are strong to return to our Lord, but because He is strong to grasp tightly those who are His. However certain we are of our Lord's forgiveness and restoration, returning to Him with humility and love is a requisite for future service. In recent weeks, we've learned from Peter's failure. Today, I pray we're encouraged by his restoration as we consider, "The cost and call of love."
