A battle with unbelief is waged in most of us, though we're tempted to pretend otherwise. At times it is acute and public; other times it is a quiet, private agony. Is all of this stuff about Jesus really true? Does it really relate practically to what I'm feeling and experiencing right now? I pray we find solace and strength this Sunday as we consider the dilemma and deliverance of doubting Thomas. The contributors and symptoms of his fight for faith are not all that unlike our own. Nor are the implications of his resolve that Jesus truly is "my Lord and my God!"
