We continue in this series entitled the “Fruit of the Spirit.” All of the fruits of the Spirit reflect the character and nature of our God. God, by nature, is faithful to his promises! True faithfulness comes from above (outside of ourselves) and then into our hearts. It is, therefore, a work of God in our hearts from beginning to end. Faithfulness does not produce faith; but rather, faith in Jesus Christ produces faithfulness in the life of the believer by the power and operation of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit produces this fruit in our hearts so that we may walking according to the Spirit, as Paul writes to the Galatians.
