In Chapter 5 we see faith in Him: Jairus seeks Jesus to heal his daughter, the woman with an issue of blood seeks Jesus for healing. At the same time, the disciples, even though they are sent out to preach, even though they see Jesus feed thousands with a few loaves and fishes, even though Jesus comes walking to them on water, their hearts were hardened. They are more like the people of Nazareth who oppose Jesus.
