It begins with our being willing to love one another even in the face of wandering from the truth. Our working for the Lord is dependent on it. But we must not forget that we will be called upon to wrestle against our enemy to keep our joy in Christ and not of the things of this world . Our words in our prayer life matter greatly to avoid worrying about what we cannot control. God's wisdom is supplied for us to help us to stand in this evil day. And when we have done all this we will truly be able to witness or testify of just how great our God is and how He cares for us.
