Paul now moves on from how that we are winners to our behavior. What we see and more importantly what other people see is of even greater importance. He shows that it matters what we do and if there is a lack of us doing anything at all. Our goal of heaven is in sight and that we are to strive to reach that destination not to just sit back and wait for that day to come. Anything that can get in the way is to be put in the past so that we can get our heads in the game. But not only us as individuals but our leaders as well. We must find those that line up with the Word of God and mark those that do not. Their examples whether good or bad is for us to learn from so that we follow Jesus Christ correctly. The reason all this matters is because this world is not our home. We, as Christians, as citizens of another world; acting as heavenly ambassadors on behalf of Christ Jesus. Our goal is to lead others to a saving knowledge of Him so that they too can go to heaven. Because one day Jesus is coming for us.
