God's sovereign determining and directing the where and when for Paul and his missionary team on their second journey became very obvious. In this account God redirected them with the Gospel to cross into Europe, to the city of Philippi
There, not being a functioning synagogue, on the Sabbath day they went where they would find the place where worshipers of God would assemble. There, being where God had sent them traveling hundreds of miles to reach, they found Gentile women gathered to pray so they preached the Gospel to them. It is a great reminder how needful it is for God's people to obediently walk by faith, waiting and trusting Him to give direction for His chosen course.
