"She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard." Proverbs 31:16
Here, the virtuous woman demonstrates the ability to make wise investments. She does not waste her time or resources on unprofitable assets. She sees a field, gathers relevant information in order to determine if it has the potential to be a fruitful investment, and then dispenses the required work. Again, we should not think that this is a one woman show. This woman is likely to have servants and maybe even an advisor or two. The point of the virtue is not that she is constantly working like a dog, but that she is making and managing her resources wisely.
