Today we have another virtue to add to the progressive list, concerning the virtuous woman. She is motivated by the law of love, she has an awareness of her household’s needs as well as a willingness to work, she has the wisdom and initiative that it takes to retrieve the household’s necessary resources, and she both serves and manages her household. The virtue under consideration here is the spirit of a servant leader, or servant manager if you will. The virtuous woman is willing to sacrifice in order to serve her family. She also has the wisdom to delegate the responsibilities of the household in order to accomplish all the necessary tasks. She is not a one woman show, but a servant manager, who seeks the good of her household.
