ARE YOU SATISFIED?
Do you ever wonder why people in the world today have more material wealth than at any time in the history of the world, and yet people are so unhappy? They are unhappy because getting more of the things of this world can never satisfy. Those things may bring temporary enjoyment, but they can never bring true satisfaction.
If you would be truly satisfied you must seek Christ. The soul that has Christ as the Savior and Christ as our righteousness will be satisfied even though we may have few earthly possessions. David said that the believer is satisfied with God’s goodness to His elect in Christ (Psalm 65:4). David also said that a believer will be fully and eternally satisfied when we awake in the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ, perfect in body and soul (Psalm 17:15).
I find very little lasting pleasure in the things of this life, but I am perfectly satisfied with Christ my Savior! I am satisfied that His blood has cleansed me from all my sin and that He has made me righteous in Him. What more could I ever want or need?
THE BLAME GAME
Men and women have been playing “The Blame Game” ever since our father Adam created it after his fall in the garden. We have all become pretty skilled at playing “The Blame Game.” Adam blamed his sin on God for giving him the woman and he blamed the woman for giving him the fruit. Eve caught on real fast as to how the game was played and blamed the serpent for deceiving her and ultimately blamed God for allowing the serpent to even be in the garden.
When Moses confronted his brother Aaron about the making of the “golden calf,” Aaron quickly remembered how to play “The Blame Game.” He first blamed the people of Israel by saying, ”Brother you know how these folks are, they are set on mischief.” Then he blamed God with one of the most ridiculous statements ever made by a man in the scriptures. “And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.” (Exodus 32:24) May God enable us to take responsibility for our sin, beg for forgiveness, and ask Him for continual help, so that we never play “The Blame Game” again. It is a game that we will always lose!

FOUR PERSONAL QUESTIONS:
If God treated you the same as you treat others, what would be your condition?
If God forgave you in the same measure of your forgiveness to others, would all your sins be gone?
If God accepted you the same as you accept others, would you be accepted before His throne?
If God judged you by the same standard that you judge others, would you be justified?
