In this speech the Prime Minister said that "tolerance was what makes Britain".
He then went on to detail what he said were "our essential values".
"When it comes to our essential values - belief in democracy, the rule of law, tolerance, equal treatment for all, respect for this country and its shared heritage - then that is where we come together, it is what we hold in common."
This sermon gives a critical analysis of Mr Blair's attempt to re-write our history and re-define our essential values, and demonstrates that it is righteousness that exalted our nation, and that tolerance of sin is bringing us down.
Here is a link to an excellent article on the Intolerance of Tolerance which I came across in the week after preaching this sermon.
A message well sent Rev. Murray. Would that Gordon Brown could "hear" the truth thus preached, we might look to a better future. But even now he proves his anti-Christ standing. Rom 13 - If God establishes authority above us then the current government and sword, is a punishment upon the British people. The true witness is repudiated in favour of abomination and a church that would sanctify sin. The evil seed of Liberalism from the modern church, is cross bred with society at large. Scripture authority has been robbed from this nation and this grieves the Spirit. Those who can see observe that God has rescinded His good authority from all our institutions. Rev. Murray if it was only worth it, I would implore you to send a trancript of your sermon to 10 Downing Street. But they are blind who will not see. Thankyou dear brother, keep up the ministry. God be with you.
