It is so tempting to meddle in other people’s business isn’t it? We can become fixated on the petty faults of others, and even convince ourselves that it is a matter of justice to expose them. However, it is a sign of wisdom not to stir up trouble in other people’s lives. However well-intentioned it might be, God has not designated the responsibility of managing everyone’s affairs to us as individuals. As God opens doors of opportunity, we may have occasion to help in another person’s dispute. But, we are not called to stir up disputes among others. May we have wisdom and self-control in this area of our lives.
