Professing Christian churches are stumbling over the simplicity of the gospel (2 Cor 11:3) teaching the heresy of Lordship salvation. This is promoted by some "great, godly, men of the faith," but many forget that the Bible says in Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment. Some great men make great mistakes. David and Moses are good examples. It's strange to teach this heresy considering verses like (Acts 10:13-14). It doesn't matter who the teacher or preacher is, if what he teaches doesn't line up with the Bible rightly divided (2 Tim 2:15), he's wrong.

Most Churches will preach out of any perversion of the Bible just as long a man is pleased. They say they are choosing the bible they like. What about the Bible God honors? What happened to what the Lord thinks about the issue? We know He would not promote lies and He doesn't. That's why these modern bible perversions go broke and have to advertise and spend money to market their new translation. God isn't promoting it so they have to. The new perversions are another reason the simplicity of salvation is corrupted. For example in Matthew 7:14 in the KJV says, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The (HCSB) says, How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it. Salvation isn't difficult. Jesus did the hard part on the cross. We simply provide the sinner and He provides the salvation.

Many Churches today teach that the members are to be "fruit inspectors," trying to decide who is saved and who is not based on their performance. Do the fruit inspectors ever read verses like Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. You work because you are saved not to get or stay saved. They reason that just because ole so and so isn't doing what I'm doing, they must not be saved. Would you say a 5 year old wasn't a child because he hasn't learned how to color inside the lines? Maybe he is learning . When someone is saved they must grow in the faith. You are just looking at what other Christian's aren't doing that you are doing and you think that makes you spiritual. Lots of people have the outside cleaned up like Judas but the inside is full of dead men's bones (Matt 23:27). If that describes you, remember that the Bible says to Examine yourselves ( 2 Cor 13:5) not your neighbour. Make the Lord Jesus your standard instead of an imperfect man and you will think differently.

I'm not even going to delve into the issue of having Contemporary "Christian" rock and rap concerts in Church services. Some of these things going on in the name of Jesus today will make Him sick (Rev 3:16). Some people will do anything to get people to come to Church. Whatever happened to praying that the Holy Spirit will draw the people, or going out and knocking on doors and witnessing? Lazy people trying to draw in a crowd for money instead of begging the Lord to save lost souls are filling the meeting houses today.

What we are watching is the gathering together of the Churches under the Mother of harlots in preparation for the great tribulation. Thank the Lord for the rapture (1 Cor 15:51-55). The little harlots are all bowing the knee for money just like a harlot does. They are selling out (1 Cor 6:5) for filthy lucre. They are erecting a little priestly class who say, "You must come to me for the proper interpretation of Scripture." They say, " your English Bible isn't translated correctly, but if you will come to me, I will give you the truth." First the gas then the operation. And people are falling for it by the droves. Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
