Acts 1:8- But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all of Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Romans 1:9- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Please, I plead with you, to stop calling yourself a Christian if you are not purposefully sharing the Gospel. It overwhelms me to think of how many are sitting in church pews with no sense of the weight of responsibility to preach the gospel and I even believe there are many who may even feel the responsibility but do nothing about it and are in the same danger of eternal hell as the former. Our Lord Jesus did not say: "When the Holy Spirit comes you might be witnesses of me" No He said: "You will be witnesses of me." Every single person that is born again is first struck by the glory of the risen Lord Jesus Christ that he must speak of Him and second he is also struck with the grim reality of hell and those who are headed there. If these two things do not consistently grip your heart you are NOT a Christian. I don't care how much comfort you think you have felt from God or how much joy you think you have felt from God or how much theology you can rehearse and how many heretics you can call out; you are not a Christian if you are not obeying our Lord's greatest command. Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do what I say. So I beg you to confront yourself with reality and ask yourself the tough questions. Luke 13:23-24 Then said one unto Him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And He said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
