The natural man can understand that God forgiving sin is amazing grace. God forgiving sin by killing His Son is grace beyond human comprehension! Only the new man, born from above, rejoices in the grace of God that enables God to be both just and justifier through the sacrifice of His Son. PURPOSE
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.” (Ephesians 1:11)
God is not trying or attempting to save everybody that will let Him! God Almighty, in sovereign grace, saves whom He wills on PURPOSE. God does not make salvation “possible”. God makes salvation “certain”. Redemption in Christ has always been “according to the purpose of him, who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.”

UNITY IN LOVE
“I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.” (Philippians 4:2)
There are times when even dear believers become divided over some problem. What does scripture say our attitude should be when this happens to us? We are to be “of the same mind”. We are to resolve these differences because we cherish and love the same person, our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to resolve these differences for the glory of God, whom we love. We are to resolve these differences for the good of the church; so the fellowship of the church that we love is preserved. We are to resolve these differences so NOTHING hinders the purpose of the church, which is to preach Christ and Him crucified.
TAKE HEED WHAT AND HOW YOU HEAR
“Take heed what ye hear” – Mark 4:24
“Take heed how ye hear” – Luke 8:18
Hearing is a critical part of the Gospel scheme. “How shall they believe on Him whom they have not heard.” “Faith cometh by hearing.” Why the Gospel itself is called in Galatians 3:2-5, “The hearing of faith.” Is it any wonder the Saviour said, “Take heed what ye hear,” and “Take heed how ye hear.” What has to do with the content of that which is heard. How has to do with the manner of hearing.
I will be what I hear. If I hear error, I will be in error. If I hear the Truth, I will believe the Truth, and grow in grace and the knowledge of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God does not speak apart from the Truth. That is why we should take heed what we hear. I will only benefit by what I hear by the manner in which I hear. That is why I am to take heed how I hear. If I hear with a dull and sleepy ear; if I hear with a critical ear; if I hear without a desire to be fed, I will not benefit!
What a needful two edged warning. Take heed what you hear and take heed how you hear.
