Before the children of Israel entered the promised land, God informed Moses he would not enter. God makes an interesting point about the strength of Moses. When Moses died in the land of Moab, God says this about him; Deu 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Today we read of Caleb receiving his inheritance. Caleb received Hebron, the land of the giants. When Caleb went to spy the land with the others, he was confident God would deliver the land into their hands. Caleb and Joshua, the only 2 to survive the wanderings. Look what the Word says about the strength of Caleb.
Jos 14:10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
Jos 14:11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
Even though advanced in age, his strength remained.
Our physical strength is in the hand of the Lord. He can keep us strong to accomplish that which He has determined for us to do.
If we are faithful. If we follow His Word. If we keep His commandments. We will be able to accomplish all He has planned for us. We will be able to do things which according to natural thought seem impossible.
May God give you the strength to accomplish His plans for you today.
