The King James Bible is unlike any book ever printed. It is priceless in its value, pure in its essence, and perfect in every way. It is perpetual in its longevity, precise in its truth, piercing in its effectiveness and personal in its application. It is inexhaustible, indestructible, interminable, incredible and incorruptible. The King James Bible is the closest thing I have on this earth to my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. And until He comes it will be my guide and counselor. There is none other. – Pastor David Walker
Dr. David E. Walker was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. He trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour when he was a child, and was called to preach in his teen years.
He met his wife Christi while in Bible college, and graduated in 1995 from Pensacola Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Divinity degree. He later earned his Master of Theology degree (2003) and his Doctorate of Theology degree (2004) from the Blue Ridge Bible Institute (now the Bible Doctrine Institute).
Pastor Walker has worked with troubled youth, served as a youth pastor and associate pastor. He was ordained in 2001. He was called to serve as Pastor of Calvary in June of 2004, and is excited about what the Lord has been doing and what He will do in the future.
Pastor Walker preaches the Bible without cutting corners, without apology, and without compromise. He believes the old time method of expository preaching is still what Christians need today. His life verses are Psalm 130:3-4.
