The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
Numbers 6:24-27
There is nothing that will make a NEEDY SINNER look to Christ alone or a BELIEVER cling to and rest in Christ alone more than to realize that everything God is, everything that God requires, and everything that a sinner needs or will ever need is IN JESUS CHRIST. We are perfect in Him! He is perfect, and our being in Him makes us perfect (Col. 2:9, 10). This is not speaking of what we shall be, but what we are right now in Christ before God.
Pastor Henry T. Mahan
Sin is a noun. It is what I am. Sin is a verb. It is what I do. Sin is an adjective. It describes me. Sin is an adverb. It describes what I do. Thank God for the promise of the Gospel, “Thou shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins” (Matthew1:21). Pastor Todd Nibert
"BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL"
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;"Psalm 103:2
Every time I read this Psalm, I must stop in wonder at the very first of God's benefits mentioned, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities." There are many blessings mentioned afterward, but none can rival the glory and sheer wonder of this first one. That He should be willing to forgive my "smaller offenses" is a wonder; or that He should be willing to forgive an offense once or twice. But that He would, yea, does forgive all my iniquities each and every time they appear is more than this poor sinner can grasp.
He has not dealt with me according to my transgressions, nor shall He ever. He has removed my transgressions as far from me as the east is from the west. Having withdrawn the frowning face of a Judge, He has shown me the merciful face of a loving Father. Bless the Lord, O my s oul; and all the redeemed of the Lord, bless His holy name with me. Forget not this one wonderful benefit, and it shall give strength to your heart and health to your bones. All that is within me bless His holy name!
Pastor Joe Terrell
The elect are not born again because they believe; rather, they believe because they have been born again (1 John 5:1). The new birth is a sovereign gift, and so is faith (Eph. 2:8-9). Repentance is also a free gift that is sovereignly bestowed (2 Tim. 2:25). Because the elect now have faith, God justifies them and they are saved. “Salvation is of the Lord” (Jonah 2:9) If any man is ever to be saved, it is only by God’s free grace from first to last.

BEING JUSTIFIED FREELY “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24).
What does it mean to be justified? I am sure that there have been many definitions given and I by no means can fully expound all that is involved in sinners being justified before God. However, I am sure that it means to be eternally pardoned from all sin by the precious blood of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:18). It means to be acquitted and vindicated of all charges before the holy justice of God (Jude 24). It means to be made and regarded righteous in God’s sight (Col. 1:21-22). How are sinners justified? By God as the source, "It is God that justifieth" (Rom. 8:33). By grace as the spring and fountain, "Justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Rom.3:24). By Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and blood atonement as the ground, "Being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him" (Rom. 5:9). By His resurrection as the proof and evidence, "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification" (Rom. 4:25). By faith as the means to receive this salvation in Christ, "Being justified by faith, we have peace with God" (Rom. 5:1).
