"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1

I’m not sure how valuable you consider your reputation to be, but God puts an expensive price tag on it. In fact, God says that your reputation is one of the most valuable things you have. So, if a good name is so valuable, how is it built? As you pursue Christ-like humility, you will gain the loving favor of those around you. A few questions you might consider about yourself in this area are:

1. 1. Am I striving to be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ?
   - If you aren’t faithful to Christ, you will not be faithful to anyone else.
2. Can people trust that I will be faithful to my commitments?
   - Credibility is foundational to a good name.
   - Do you show up on time, complete you tasks?
   - Are you given over to lying/deceit?
3. Am I self-centered, or am I striving to cultivate a servant’s spirit in my life?
   - True love is selfless, and those who would receive loving favor must first exercise it toward
