All things for good!?Romans chapter 8.Even deep sorrow!
Spurgeon said deep sorrow sometimes would not depart - only when God lifted him up out of it. Lets us note this and all who claim to have all the answers to sorrow. It's not of man to know all things - but God. Not of a book (outside of the bible), pastor, holiday or rebuke - but God. The scriptures tells us that for the beliver all thing are ordered by God for our good, sent for our good.When we encounter that deep sorrow, it may be hard, but we should count it as one of those things working for our good.
Wait on God is the answer; on Him alone, is the lesson .. we learn.Yes there is a time to speak to such sad soul, but also a time not to speak - let God have His way and Glory of lifting them out of the pit.This was the story of the psalmist at times was it not? God will not forsake us; Job found God only lifted him .Hope thou in God Psalm 42...we shall yet praise Him!
