Prayer MATTERS! Camp Week Prayer meeting and latest news Monday to Friday 7.15 a.m. in cottage. Campers: Georgina, Sasha, Julia, Lila, Ole, Jessica, Stephen, Luke Ben Officers: Daniel & Sarah, Mark & Debbie, Jonathan, Ralph
Please pray for the campers. There are approximately 105 altogether. Pray that they may make friends and settle into camp quickly. Pray that they may learn much through camp and be spoken to through the gospel.
Please pray for the officers. There are reportedly over 40.
Please pray that each may be walking closely to the Lord. Also pray that there may be a good unity amongst such a large group and that each may be a good witness to the campers.
Please pray for Rob and Jane Plant who have overall responsibility for the camp.
Please pray for Norman Gilbert as he presents the gospel each day to the children. He will be focusing on Elijah. Please pray for the officers as they lead bible studies from Mark chapter 10. Please pray for the safety of all the campers as they participate in a variety of activities. These are just some of the things that you could remember in prayer. No doubt, the officers will be in contact during camp week and the list will get even longer as we continue to share specific items Anyone who cannot get to the prayer meetings and would like updates by text or email, please let Paul have the details in writing. Other matters Continue to pray for those who are going through particular difficulties at this time with their health. Continue to pray that Peter and Mona will be soon united.
For the Local Area Walthamstow Sunday morning congregations fluctuate but in general are encouraging. We need wisdom with regard to our long term future. Praise: Special family fun afternoon held on the first Saturday in June, and, a week later on Sunday, a Fellowship Tea β both events went well. Prayer: New meeting to start in September (for trial period) to replace Womenβs Fellowship β will be open to men as well as women with aim of involving more people from local retirement flats.
Greenwich. Bill Gardner telephoned to say that Harry Waghorn has been called home to be with his Saviour and Lord. Please remember his widow, Ivy, his family and the church at this time.
