Another bizarre fabrication from the pen of Dan Brown:
The Da Vinci Code ties in Walt Disney with the Priory of Sion through a membership of the Masons, and insists that the early Disney classics were proof that he knew the real truth of the Holy Grail and was a member of the group devoted to preserve it (DVC p.389; cf. pp.261-262).
In actual fact, Walt Disney died only a decade after the Priory was founded (December 15, 1966), and the early Disney classics are older than the Priory. He could therefore not have used his movies to spread the message of the group as the movies came first!
