I have covered the main areas in which The Da Vinci Code is so deficient and deceptive:
1. The RELIABILITY of Scripture.
Dan Brown claims that the Roman Emperor Constantine:
• rewrote our Bible • and burned better books (eg. Gnostic Gospels) to prevent them finding a place in the Canon of Scripture
According to 'The Da Vinci Code,' the net result is that people have been prevented from discovering 'the real Jesus'!
2. The DEITY of Christ.
The Da Vinci Code alleges that "almost everything our fathers taught us about Christ is false" – and then proceeds to trash His Virgin Birth, Miracles, and Deity.
According to Dan Brown's weird and unsubstaniated theory, Jesus married Mary Magdalene and fathered a child, the descendents of whom still live in France!
3. The HISTORY of Man.
The final section of the message focuses on some of the basic historical facts that Dan Brown manages to get wrong.
If his message cannot be trusted in these non-controversial areas, how can his more outlandish and blasphemous claims be given any credence?!

“ Great Sermon! ” I listened to this sermon last night. It was fascinating. I wish I could have had this as a reference way back when the DV Code craze was running amok. I would be interested to hear his thoughts on any of the newer crazes going around.

“ Great Sermon! ” Sadly, The DV Code will impart false despair in the unScriptured as, without the light of the Risen and Annointed Savior, there is absolutely no hope for all mankind.

In this informative sermon, he eloquently refutes practically every single one of Dan Brown's ridiculous theories. “ Outstanding ” I was curious about this topic because I didn't want to buy the book and give the author and corrupt, blasphemous publishing empire any more money (not that I'd have time to read it anyway). There are several sermons about this novel/movie available, but this one is by far the best. Pastor Brown has done a lot of research, and presents the the material in a well-paced, well-delivered, well-organized manner. I highly recommend keeping the link handy for people who want more information about the truth. At 75:24, the sermon will fit on a standard audio CD as well for wider dissemination.
