"Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge." Proverbs 14:7

Here once again, we are warned to remove ourselves from the influence of foolishness. It seems that Solomon can’t over stress this point. If you listen close enough, you might hear yourself saying “Ok, Ok, I already know this part; I’ve heard it over and over for 14 whole chapters.” We must see through this type of attitude and acknowledge the fact that we have many foolish influences that have not yet been severed from our embrace. How can we identify these foolish influences? Proverbs 14:1 says “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God.” Notice where the fool has made this statement: in his heart or the core of his being. The center of who this individual is literally cries out “NO GOD”. These are not the words that are spoken; they are the lifestyle that is lived, the message behind the actions.
