I am asking special prayer for our time with our Chinese scholar friends. Our second meeting covering Genesis 1 seemed to go well. My Chinese student translator from Crown College believes that two women may actually be interested in knowing the details of salvation. We have spoken about salvation through Jesus Christ in each of the two lessons, but not in detail. We really need great wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit, who must do the work of convincing of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
We just found out that most of our new friends will be leaving by January, and some within two or three weeks. Please pray with us that the Lord will work in hearts, that He will be glorified, and that some will accept the Lord.
The Chinese man who started the group and his American wife will also be leaving at the end of October. They have really been concentrating on some children of the scholars, knowing that they will be indoctrinated in communistic atheism as soon as they leave. Please join us in praying for their salvation.
