It is Not of him that Willleth

If its God who chooses whom to have mercy on a personal thing,how can it be us choosing God in any way?If it were us chosing God in faith, then Paul here in these verses would not have to argue the case for God saying its not of him that runneth or willeth but God that shows mercy! We do not will it,we cant we dead in sin ,Bible is clear. Faith is gift of God..Not of him that willeth,not our wills agreeing with God and God allowing us in His power to believe,no.Not us running,that is doing some good repenting then God chooses us .No!Rather God shows us mercy for no reason but His love for us and His own purpose not mans.Sovereign Purpose of Gods will,not mans.Thats the problem Paul is writing about.Man then says why does God not choose all? or miss some out? yet choose others.If the truth was man chooses God and God chooses those who believe then Paul would not have to say these things,man loves that as a truth ,but its not what Bible says is true,and thats why Paul has to spend time on it. We dont believe what we think is true but what Gods Word says.We dont like this doctrine it goes against our thinking ,so Paul is at pains to say ,its true and God says so.Who has known the Mind of The Lord.Not us,we only know by the Word of God..Will you submit to it or give in to pride?
