A week of contrast: One of our young preachers was married Saturday. It was a very sweet service attended by many. I had the joy of doing the vows. Last night, we held a special evening service for a church family whose 81 year old father died on Friday. His health has been frail for years, and he was confined pretty much to home. I had spoken to him several times, but was not clear about his salvation, but in recent months, his family says, he spoke of trusting Jesus alone, and not the witchcraft belief in the spirits. I had the privilege of preaching both salvation to the unsaved and encouragement to the saved at the service.

Bibles: We received word today that the Bibles are actually on ship and heading for Suriname. Please pray for us as we break down the garage around the container and prepare for transport to Moengo.

Missionary textbooks: I have been working on a missionary textbook for about three years after I was encouraged by some college teachers. Recently, I have also been encouraged to break it into segments. The first volume is complete; its subjects are Persecution in the Church and Missions and Money. The second volume on Spiritual Warfare and The Spiritual Life of the Missionary is nearly done, and we are working on Volume 3 on the subject of Translation. Please pray for the logistics and that the textbooks will prove a blessing and be used to raise up more missionary servants for the Lord. They will soon be available electronically in Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. as well as in printed form.

Continuing radio and TV broadcasts: We have basically finished distributing materials and arranging automatic payments so that the radio and TV broadcasts will continue as they are at present when we relocate in the USA.
